<i>SENCR</i> is a human-specific, vascular cell-enriched long-noncoding RNA (lncRNA) that regulates vascular smooth muscle cell and endothelial cell (EC) phenotypes. The underlying mechanisms of action of <i>SENCR</i> in these and other cell types is unknown.
