RNA binding proteins, including IMP1/IGF2BP1, are essential regulators of intestinal development and cancer. <i>Imp1</i> hypomorphic mice exhibit gastrointestinal growth defects, yet the specific role for IMP1 in colon epithelial repair is unclear.
