The data in this article present position-dependent variation of focus prosody within phone number strings in Tokyo Japanese. Four acoustic parameters (duration, mean intensity, maximum pitch, and time-normalized pitch contours) are reported to illustrate focus prosody of Japanese phone numbers, separately for broad focus and corrective focus.
