Paracoccidioidomycosis (PCM) is a fungal infection caused by <i>Paracoccidioides brasiliensis</i> and <i>P. lutzii</i>. It is endemic to South and Central America. While PCM frequently remains latent, the disease can reactivate years after the initial infection.
