The goal of this study was to identify differentially expressed genes (DEGs) responsible for peanut plant (<i>Arachis hypogaea</i>) defence against <i>Puccinia arachidis</i> (causative agent of rust disease). Genes were identified using a high-throughput RNA-sequencing strategy.
