Efficacy and safety of sofosbuvir-containing regimens in patients with chronic hepatitis C virus infection after liver transplantation: a meta-analysis.

ABSTRACT:

Background

This meta-analysis evaluated the efficacy and safety of a sofosbuvir (SOF)-containing regimen in patients with hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection after liver transplantation (LT).

Methods

We performed a systematic search for relevant published data on the PubMed, EMBASE, and Cochrane Library databases. Studies that evaluated any regimen in which SOF was used to treat patients with HCV infection after LT and reported the sustained virologic response 12 weeks (SVR12) after therapy were included.

Results
