'Primed' Mesenchymal Stem Cells: a Potential Novel Therapeutic for COVID19 Patients.

ABSTRACT: The COVID19 pandemic, designated as a public health crisis by the World Health Organization (WHO), is rapidly spreading around the world impacting the health and economy of almost all the countries. The data of hospitalized COVID19 patients, especially those with serious illness, indicate the involvement of immunopathological complications. As no effective treatment is currently available, we propose 'Primed' Mesenchymal Stem Cells (MSCs) as a therapeutic alternative to tackle devastating epidemic.
