Aging is characterized by extensive metabolic reprogramming. To identify metabolic pathways associated with aging, we analyzed age-dependent changes in the metabolomes of long-lived <i>Drosophila melanogaster</i>. Among the metabolites that changed, levels of tyrosine were increased with age in long-lived flies.
