Women with temporomandibular disorders: Untargeted proton nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy-based metabolomics of saliva and psychological instruments dataset.

ABSTRACT: This article introduces the first dataset of 1H- nuclear magnetic resonance - based metabolomic spectroscopy of saliva samples from women with temporomandibular disorders (TMD) of muscular origin. Our data generated a metabolomic profile for TMD of muscular origin. The samples were separated in two groups: Experimental Group (EG) represented by women with TMD who were submitted to a conservative treatment compared with a Control group (CG) of women without TMD. These data also include information about time of onset the pain, measures of pain obtained before and after the treatment by the visual analogic scale.
