Bovine babesiosis, caused by <i>Babesia bovis</i> and <i>B. bigemina</i>, is a major tick-borne disease of cattle with global economic impact. The disease can be prevented using integrated control measures including attenuated <i>Babesia</i> vaccines, babesicidal drugs, and tick control approaches.
