Most clinically used anticancer mAbs are of the IgG isotype, which can eliminate tumor cells through NK cell-mediated antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity and macrophage-mediated antibody-dependent phagocytosis. IgG, however, ineffectively recruits neutrophils as effector cells.
