Duration of Outpatient Antibiotic Therapy for Common Outpatient Infections, 2017.

ABSTRACT: Our objective was to describe the duration of antibiotic therapy for the management of common outpatient conditions. The median duration of antibiotic courses for most common conditions, except for acute cystitis, was 10 days, in many cases exceeding guideline-recommended durations.
