(1) Background: Hybrid uropathogenic <i>Escherichia coli</i> (UPEC) strains carry virulence markers of the diarrheagenic <i>E. coli</i> (DEC) pathotypes, which may increase their virulence potential. This study analyzed the frequency and virulence potential of hybrid strains among 452 UPEC strains.
