Podosomes and invadopodia, collectively termed invadosomes, are adhesive and degradative membrane structures formed in many types of cells and are well known for recruiting various proteases. However, another major class of degradative enzymes, deoxyribonuclease (DNase), remains unconfirmed and not studied in invadosomes.
