Bacterial Mip-like FK506-binding proteins (FKBPs) mostly exhibit peptidyl-prolyl-cis/<i>trans</i>-isomerase (PPIase) and chaperone activities. These activities are associated with various intracellular functions with diverse molecular mechanisms.
