Glycyrrhetinic acid (GA) is a principal bioactive pentacyclic triterpenoid from <i>Glycyrrhiza uralensis</i>. Uridine diphosphate-dependent glycosyltransferases (UGTs) have been widely used to catalyze glycosylation of diverse nature products for the development of potential therapeutic compounds.
