Solvent extraction of PM<sub>2.5</sub> samples collected on the filter is a preliminary step for assessing the PM<sub>2.5</sub> oxidative potential (OP) using cell-free assays, as the dithiothreitol (DTT) and the ascorbic acid (AA) assays.
