Allergic asthma is a chronic inflammatory disorder associated with airway hyperreactivity (AHR) whose global prevalence is increasing at an alarming rate. Group 2 innate lymphoid cells (ILC2s) and T helper 2 (T<sub>H</sub>2) cells are producers of type 2 cytokines, which may contribute to development of AHR.
