<i>Mycobacterium microti</i>, member of the <i>Mycobacterium tuberculosis</i>, complex is known to interfere in the screening and diagnosis of bovine tuberculosis. This pathogen is increasingly detected in the frame of surveillance programs for tuberculosis in livestock and wildlife.
