On intensive fish farms, 10% of the population dies exclusively from pathogens, and <i>Photobacterium damselae</i> subsp. <i>Piscicida (Ph. damselae</i> subsp. <i>Piscicida)</i>, the bacteria causing pasteurellosis in marine aquaculture, is one of the major pathogens involved.
