Consumer acceptance of fruit is determined by size, flavour and ripeness. In this study we investigated how altering the carbohydrate supply to <i>Actinidia chinensis</i> var. <i>chinensis</i> 'Zesy002' kiwifruit altered the balance between growth and accumulation of metabolites.
