Erythropoietin-producing hepatocellular (Eph) receptors are receptor tyrosine kinases involved in cell-cell contact. The EphA2 receptor is associated with cancer proliferation and migration. Therefore, EphA2 receptor imaging has the potential for cancer diagnosis.
