Chronic mucocutaneous candidiasis (CMC) is a disorder of recurrent or persistent chronic noninvasive symptomatic infections of the skin, nails and mucous membranes. This disorder is primarily caused by <i>Candida albicans</i>. Many factors, including primary immunodeficiencies, can make a host more susceptible to CMC.
