ABSTRACT: Hafnia spp. have the potential to cause opportunistic infections in humans and animals. This announcement describes the draft genome sequence of an H2S-positive Hafnia paralvei strain that was isolated as a presumptive Salmonella sp. from a frozen cod fillet.
