Cereulide is one of the main food-borne toxins for vomiting synthesized by <i>Bacillus cereus</i>, and it widely contaminates meat, eggs, milk, and starchy foods. However, the toxicological effects and mechanisms of the long-time exposure of cereulide in vivo remain unknown.
