Baicalein (5,6,7-trihydroxy-2-phenyl-4H-1-benzopyran-4-one), a flavonoid analog from <i>Scutellaria baicalensis</i>, possesses several pharmacological activities including antioxidant, antiproliferative, and anti-inflammatory activities.
