The figleaf gourd (<i>Cucurbita ficifolia</i> Bouché), is a member of the Cucurbitaceae. Figleaf gourd genotypes are exclusively used as a rootstock for cucumber owing to their high physiological compatibility with cucumber. In this study, the complete chloroplast (cp) genome of <i>C. ficifolia</i> was assembled.
