Cyclodialysis causes intraocular lens (IOL) pupillary capture. It requires surgical repair to prevent this risk of IOL pupillary capture. However, since repairing cyclodialysis is often technically difficult, other methods such as barricading by suturing, pupilloplasty, and pars plana fixation of the IOL were preferred.
