Acute Coronary Syndrome Requiring Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting in a Patient With Sotos Syndrome.

ABSTRACT: Sotos syndrome, characterized by cerebral gigantism with neurologic disorders, is an overgrowth syndrome caused by mutations of the NSD1 gene, with an estimated prevalence of 1:10,000-1:50,000. We herein describe the first case of Sotos syndrome complicated by acute coronary syndrome, for which emergency coronary artery bypass grafting was performed. (Level of Difficulty: Intermediate.).
