Acetaminophen (APAP) hepatotoxicity is the leading cause of acute liver failure in the western world. Oridonin (OD), which is the major active ingredient of the traditional Chinese medicine <i>Rabdosia rubescens</i>, reportedly exerts anti-inflammatory and antioxidative effects.
