<i>Fusarium</i> species are among the most commonly isolated causes of fungal keratitis. Most species of the genus <i>Fusarium</i> belong to <i>Fusarium solani</i> species complex (FSSC). <i>Fusarium lichenicola</i>, a member of the FSSC complex, is a well-established plant and human pathogen.
