The genome sequence of the seven-spotted ladybird, Coccinella septempunctata Linnaeus, 1758.

ABSTRACT: We present a genome assembly from an individual female Coccinella septempunctata (the seven-spotted ladybird; Arthropoda; Insecta; Coleoptera; Coccinellidae). The genome sequence is 399 megabases in span. The majority (99.96%) of the assembly is scaffolded into 9 chromosomal pseudomolecules, with the X sex chromosome assembled.
