The two-striped forest-pitviper (<i>Bothrops bilineatus</i>) is an arboreal snake that is currently represented by two subspecies (<i>B. b. bilineatus</i> and <i>B. b. smaragdinus</i>) that comprise a species complex, and its distribution is in the Amazon and the Atlantic Forest.
