Resilience of patients with coronary heart diseases in Jordan: A cross-sectional study.

ABSTRACT:

Objectives

This study aimed to assess the level of resilience and related factors among patients with coronary heart disease.

Methods

A cross-sectional was used to determine the factors associated with the level of resilience. A convenience sampling technique was used to recruit 134 patients with coronary heart disease who attended the out-patients cardiology clinics at two leading public hospitals in Jordan from July to September 2017. The Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC) was used to collect the data via a face-to-face structured interview. Mann-Whitney U test and Kruskal Wallis test were used to analyze the data.
