Notch signaling is one of the most common drivers of carcinogenesis in many types of cancers, including hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC); however, it occasionally suppresses tumor progression. Moreover, it is virtually unknown how different sets of Notch ligands and receptors regulate the HCC development.
