Tubulin is a conserved protein that polymerizes into different forms of filamentous structures in <i>Toxoplasma gondii</i>, an obligate intracellular parasite in the phylum Apicomplexa. Two key tubulin-containing cytoskeletal components are subpellicular microtubules (SPMTs) and conoid fibrils (CFs).
