Extracranial malignant rhabdoid tumors (extracranial MRT) are rare, highly aggressive malignancies affecting mainly infants and children younger than 3 years. Common anatomic sites comprise the kidneys (RTK - rhabdoid tumor of kidney) and other soft tissues (eMRT - extracranial, extrarenal malignant rhabdoid tumor).
