Photoperiodic flowering is an important agronomic trait that determines adaptability and yield in soybean and is strongly influenced by <i>FLOWERING LOCUS T</i> (<i>FT</i>) genes. Due to the presence of multiple <i>FT</i> homologs in the genome, their functions in soybean are not fully understood.
