SignificanceEpstein-Barr virus (EBV) contributes to Burkitt lymphoma and post-transplant lymphoproliferative disease (PTLD). EBV-transforming programs activate lipid metabolism to convert B cells into immortalized lymphoblastoid cell lines (LCL), a PTLD model.
