Proline:arginine (PR) poly-dipeptides from the GGGGCC repeat expansion in <i>C9orf72</i> have cytotoxicity and bind intermediate filaments (IFs). However, it remains unknown how PR poly-dipeptides affect cytoskeletal organization and focal adhesion (FA) formation.
