Ticks, such as <i>Ixodes ricinus</i> and <i>Dermacentor reticulatus</i>, act as vectors for multiple pathogens posing a threat to both human and animal health. As the process of urbanization is progressing, those arachnids are being more commonly encountered in urban surroundings.
