Enzymatic dephosphorylation-triggered self-assembly of DNA amphiphiles.


ABSTRACT: In this work, phosphorylated lipid-conjugated oligonucleotide (DNA-lipid-P) has been synthesized to develop an enzyme-responsive self-assembly of DNA amphiphiles based on dephosphorylation-induced increase of hydrophobicity. Since elevated ALP level is a critical index in some diseases, ALP-triggered self-assembly of DNA amphiphiles shows promise in disease diagnosis and cancer treatment.
