ABSTRACT: The charge storage mechanism of mixed cobalt oxysulphide/hydroxide materials having electrochromic properties was investigated. The cobalt oxysulphide/hydroxide materials exhibit a dual reversible redox reaction and electrochromic properties in 1 M KOH during charging and discharging.
