ABSTRACT:

Background

The decision of when to discontinue systemic treatment after achieving remission in psoriasis is an important question. In this systematic review, we sought to evaluate time to relapse after the discontinuation of systemic treatment in psoriasis patients.

Methods

Systematic searches of PubMed, Cochrane Library, and Embase databases were performed for randomized controlled studies reporting time to relapse after discontinuation of systemic drugs in psoriasis patients. In addition, pharmaceutical companies were contacted by the authors regarding missing data from the identified publications.
