The Stig cyclases from <i>Stigonematalean cyanobacteria</i> are classified as a novel type of calcium-dependent cyclases which catalyze an uncommon reaction cascade comprising Cope rearrangement, 6-<i>exo</i>-trig cyclization, and electrophilic aromatic substitution.
