ABSTRACT: Ammonia synthesis chemistry with lithium-nitrogen-hydrogen materials is largely confined to pathways involving lithium hydride and lithium imide. Herein, we explore an alternate pathway featuring lithium nitride-hydride that shows more favorable characteristics from an activity, synthesis and cyclability perspective.
