Rare Complications of Pseudoaneurysms of the Superior Vena Cava After Transvenous Lead Extraction.

ABSTRACT: Superior vena cava laceration has been reported as a catastrophic complication that requires immediate surgical intervention during transvenous lead extraction. Hereby, we present 2 cases of pseudoaneurysm formation at the superior vena cava after transvenous lead extraction, which were successfully managed without invasive treatment.
