The Dombrock (DO) blood group system has two primary antigens, Do<sup>a</sup> and Do<sup>b</sup>, which can cause delayed hemolytic transfusion reactions. The paucity of specific monospecific antibodies can hamper the typing based on these antigens. Thus, blood group genotyping (BGG) was investigated as a possible solution.
