Immunity-related GTPases (IRGs), also known as p47 GTPases, are a family of interferon-inducible proteins that play roles in immunity defense against intracellular pathogens. Although the molecular functions of IRGs have been well studied, the function of the family member, IRGC1, remains unclear.
