<i>Rubus peltatus</i> Maxim. (Bull. Acad. Imp. 1871) is a wild species endemic to East and Southeast China. However, genetic resources were unavailable for this species. It holds great potential for domestication or other breeding purposes with the extraordinary large yellow fruits.
